My Aunt died this afternoon. She was my Dad's brother's wife. It's not entirely a shock but it's not easy. She'd had a stroke recently, and was picking up, but she had a heart attack a few days ago. My Dad is going down to see my Uncle in Petworth on Tuesday. This is on top of my Mum having a lump on her neck. She has to go in for a biopsy on Monday. whippett and I are taking her in, because Dad has to look after my sis's girls. L has a to attend a driving course because she was clocked speeding. This course means she avoids points. My Dad is torn between worrying about Mum, and worrying about his brother. I'm trying not to panic.
I suggested Dad bring T back up with him when he comes back, so he isn't on his own at Christmas. They couldn't have children.

Oh, man. I'll keep a good thought for you and your family.

My uncle died this past Thursday and his funeral is tomorrow. There seems to be something about this time of year that you hear of a lot of serious things happening to people. Or maybe it's just heightened because everything is supposed to be so joyous and happy, and real life is .... real life.
